Putting My Experience
to Work
As a working mother of 4 children, I set out to expand on my community service by running for the Ward 2 seat on City Council in Cuyahoga Falls in 2019. It's been a privilege and an honor to serve in this capacity since January 2020. I've enjoyed getting to know more fellow Ward 2 residents and responding to their questions and concerns. Every new challenge and problem tackled has provided me with valuable experience. I plan to put this experience to work for our community by running for another term. Fortunately, for all of us, we have an incredibly responsive and service oriented team at City Hall who are quick to respond whenever I reach out with a neighbor's concerns.
Since taking office in 2020, I’ve enjoyed the work I do for City Council and our City as a whole. One of the first roles I took on was Vice Chair for the Public Affairs Committee, and in January 2021 I was entrusted with chairing the Planning & Zoning Committee. To further immerse myself in this role, I joined the City Planning Commission which has afforded me greater knowledge of the City’s zoning and plans for development. I also serve on the Board for the Cuyahoga Falls Downtown Partnership, the Board of Directors for Schnee Learning Center, the Sustainability, Energy & Environment Committee, and am honored to serve as Council Chaplain.
